GTX 1080 Ti Control panel
« on: April 13, 2017, 09:48:57 AM »

Does anyone run a Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti?  There is no monitoring software for temps or for controlling fan speed. I'm concerned about temps since fan speeds seem low, and in the past I have had to set fan speeds manually.

For those that have one, how are you monitoring GPU temps?

Thanks,  :salute

I use MSI Afterburner for my GTX 1060. It will let you set up custom fan speed profiles too.

My custom fan speed profile keeps the 1060 rocking.

If for some reason Afterburner doesn't let you control the fan speed, you could try Speedfan.

I downloaded this but it asked for the vendor for the cand in a drop down menue, and Nvidia isn't listed. so it wouldn't let me do it.

all the other EOMs were there, gigabite, MSI, ASUS, etc...But no NVidia

Hi Vinkman,

All those EOM's make Nvidia GTX 1080Ti's so I would think that MSI's Afterburner software would work w\ your 1080Ti as well.
Did you order your 1080Ti direct from Nvidia?

This is a new feature that MSI has coded into their Afterburner software recently.....as of Afterburner 4.3.0 I haven't seen the software ask in a dropdown menu the specific vid card vendor of a specific vid card model........assuming that this would be the same for AMD cards as well........

I'm actually using MSI Afterburner software w\ my Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 Fury X vid card as MSI also makes AMD Radeon vid cards so their software is both Nvidia & AMD compatible.........

Hope you get it sorted out.........
