Best aircraft matchups in Aces High?

In the thread for the upcoming "Big Week" scenario a comment was made (a seconded) about the great matchup between the P-47D11 and the FW-190A5, two very-well matched airframes in AH.

Started me wondering about other Allies-Axis matchups.  What do you guys think are the other very well matched opponents in AH?

Spit I vs 109E, and Spit V vs 109F?

F4U-1A vs Ki.84?

P-40N vs Ki.61?

F6F-5 vs A6M5?

Brewster vs Rata or Ki.43?

P-51D vs 109G14?

Yak 3 vs K4?

Actually its sortof hard finding Axis/Allies airframes that have similiar performance, since during the War design considerations started to diverge quite a bit.  Is there any Axis airframe that had as low a rollrate as the P-38G?

I don't know what the rollrate is on the P-38G but I'd guess the bf 110 would have the slow roll rate, speaking strictly of slow roll rate axis planes.

  Is there any Axis airframe that had as low a rollrate as the P-38G?

I remember me and a friend(creton) did fights in the old Dueling arena a while back. We tested German planes against Russian planes. We found there was a very close accuracy with the historical data that was available. I-16 vs 109E, La5 vs 109f, la7 vs G series, Yak vs k4.

I've always thought this was the very best AvA fight.

38G v 202 is also a good one, but not as good as Spit I v Emil.

A Brewster can dive away yes, but it pretty much the only advantage it has against the Ki. As soon as you start to turn the Ki will win.

The plane I just jumped into and the first red icon plane I find!    Though nothing beats the early war British/German matchups.  Spits/109's are  great stuff.

Hurri 1 v Emil, 110 G2 v Mossie 6. I think the Hurri 1 is one of the most fun to fly planes in the game.
