Short answer is ... NOPE!  As a matter of fact, its set up as a V-base war.

Not demeaning AvA, just not the same as Mid War.

Well, it is Thursday night, so it's setup for tank battles as it is every Thursday night.

I have to agree.

I tried out AvA and I admit I had fun with jet week.  However, with the icons turned off against some terrains and I can't see a damn thing.  One can argue with R/L and bringing that aspect to the game.  But the reality is the majority of us wouldn't pass a flight physical so why bother?  MW and AvA have absolutely nothing in common.  AvA is more structured like FSO but more laid back.

MW is like the current MA with a much smaller, yet loyal player base.  It is also a great place for newbs to cut their teeth and actually learn the game.  Many of s in the MW help newbs.  It is more personable in there.  If anything, we are much easier on newbs than we are n each other if you can believe that.

Now I do admit, it can get super boring in there from time to time.  You do see peeps rolling undefended bases and when someone comes in to defend they start attacking the other country to avoid fighting.  Some don't like the fight and some do.  And again, if you didn't like MW because of that, then the MA (LW) was always available.

I can't explain it but in MW because of the smaller player base, it tends to draw the same guys in the same country to work together and you really get the chance to sharpen your strategic and tactical skills.

FWIW - I was never an EW guy.  We get a fair share of EW in FSO.  MW is ideal because the super uber planes are not available and you are forced to learn different air tactics to accomplish a goal.  I knew guys that lived in there and tried out LW during the workup to our current arena set up and they are no longer around.

I think setting up a MW is a valid request.  Completely supported!!!

Rodent - depends on the historical scenario they have up at the time.  For pacific related (especially carrier based), if the time period they've posted has that plane, it'll be there.

PS. The F6F is my fav carrier plane. :aok
