game wont launch

i just did 2 updates and was going to log on but soon as i click the icon i now get a white screen with a little box in the middle saying "ERROR initialization failed with -9 mainWLD_ FAILED -9" any ideas something break in the updates do i need to do a fresh install or is there a fix?

When that error pops up, you have to install the full game over the top of your existing one.

Although, one player said he rebooted his computer and it fixed it.

Starting to think the desktop shortcut is getting corrupt in memory.

Next step is to find someone having the problem and have them start the game via the Windows Start menu to see if it works.  If it does, that will nail it down.

if this issue happens again i will launch from start menu and see what happens
