The first thing I did when the B-29 was introduced was landing it on a CV.  :D

Speaking of landing odd planes on odd things: Just for fun, my guys back in the day would clown around attempting to land various aircraft on top of hangars and the like. Funny seeing the results.  :D Hey, gotta break up the usual with goofy stuff every now and then. ;)

Anyone ever make it on the hangar?  I always fall off.

I've seen someone "land" a Ki-43 on the bomber hanger.

It was a gear-up crash more than anything else, but he made it.

I have landed every plane on the CV.

The 80th used to fly inverted through enemy hangars till shot down or crashing.

B24, B29, AR234, Me262, Me163 all successfully landed on the carrier.

A6M2 successfully landed INSIDE the CV from the side (yes, there's a sidehole!).

Storch -- Successfully landed on the indestructible, then took off again.  :)

Landed a P-51 on the DD once.   Broke stuff off but I avoided a ditch.

The bombers I've landed on CVs were in pretty rough shape, but I routinely land fighters and rearm if the opportunity presents itself.

In AH1 is was actually quite easy to land a plane on the housing for the main guns on the cruiser.
