squad logo help request

Not sure where to post this thread, so this is as good a place as any.


Want to revive the squad logo from my old squad.  The original logo had Muttley squared off at the bottom, so did a hack and slash in MSPaint to give it a curve at the bottom:



What I want is to use this as the logo, but without any of the white border and possibly smoothing the jagged bottom edge a little.  Could one of the graphics wizards here please change the white to clear?  Your handiwork will be most assuredly be featured in upcoming screenshots.

Just one more thing.  The max size for squad logos is 80 x 80 pixels IIRC.  When I reduced the image to 80 x 69 pixels, the program said that "any transparency will be lost if you continue". 
How do I save it and keep the transparent part?

Do you want to use it for noseart or just use it on screenshots?

If you want it as a noseart, you will have to use this:



Make sure you change the name of the image to the Squad CO's name, then put it in the squads folder.

Want it as in-game nose art.  This one looks like it lost some quality and is slightly distorted at 64 x 64 pixels.  Any way to make it without changing the proportions?  Don't mind if it is taller than it is wide.   And is 64 x 64 the largest size allowed?

It must be 64x64 and it must be a 256 color bitmap.

Tried this one and the last one.  Labeled them as "Snuggie.bmp" and placed in squads folder.  Doesn't show up online or offline.

Still isn't working.  Used new pic saved as "snuggie.bmp" and still getting same message in O Club.  It looks great on your plane at least. 


Yours says "squads/BWDelta.bmp"   I tried "Snuggie.bmp" and "snuggie.bmp"   Should I try renaming as "squads/Snuggie.bmp" ?
