AH WW2, a man can dream, right?
« on: June 05, 2017, 02:11:33 PM »

rail, bridge, and road lines to be cut to prevent resupply, causing an impact to what forces a military can use.

AI controlled supply - trains and convoys.

AI controlled infantry that fights on front line - players would bomb and strafe infantry to move the front line, which would impact supplies.

what about AI infantry? I think it would be cool to strafe large number of infantry troops.....

hitech already mentioned that he wants to or thinking about adding GI'S sometime in the future.  I am not quoting him directly just for what I remember.

Adding soft targets like AI troop "front lines" would give renewed life to older airframes with 7mm guns and lots of lesser-caliber ammo. It might also allow more scenario/FSO options with defending frontlines and/or attacking ground units that aren't tanks.

Wether AIs or something, it would be interesting to have something susceptible to those 30cal MGs. Most targets in WW2 were "soft" and most targets in AH are "not."  :D

Yea and even with low players numbers you could still play on the arena,  because you would have things to do vs the ai controlled troops convoys trains etc

I keep hearing "low numbers"

The low numbers I have seen as of late are more than 100 players in the arena EVERY time I play...the only time I haven't seen over 100 in the arena was about 3 oclock in the morning EDT and there was about 60 players in the arena with 30 of them in flight...and they were hellacious fights even with not very many ppl on...

What are low numbers...single digits...we have single digit players in WWI all the time and they are the best fights...

Low numbers compared to what it used to be, when there was routinely over 500 in a single arena.

As a matter if fact, during the most part of the day, the numbers are far from 100. I, for one almost never see 100 players at all anymore. Numbers go from less than 20 (occasionally less than 10 with even 0 on one country) at noon to 50-90 during Euro prime time. WW1 is empty all the time to me, it's only during a short period each day you are likely to find someone in there.

Don 't equate the US prime time window with "all the time".
