Give 'em He-lll
« on: June 16, 2017, 10:07:30 PM »

That's right, an icon of the Battle of Britain is here and ready to be taken to the skies. Our aircraft will cast many shadows across the English countryside and pound that stubborn rock in one relentless day. My handle is ShtGn and I will be leading Kampfgeschwader 76 across the Channel. The Hardest Day event will live up to its namesake as a 12 hour special AH scenario - I am planning to fly the entire time, but I do not expect other members of the group to participate the full time. I'm looking for eleven more capable pilots interested in flying the Heinkel He-111 bomber to hit targets as directed (field hangars and city strats). I don't mind having beginner bomber pilots wishing to join up - on the contrary, I relish the opportunity to introduce others to a session of living history. If you are a novice, you have roughly two months to practice and train before the critical moment of Operation Adlerangriff arrives. I hope to see you there and at the controls taking an He-111 into battle under the colors of KG 76. Just shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

What General Spaatz called the "Big Week" Battle over Germany of 1944 is over. The Battle of Britain is about to begin...in a flashback...to 1940...

With today marking the exciting conclusion of the "Big Week" scenario, we can now focus our attention on the next event - 12 continuous hours of air combat over Britain. The heinkels are standing by waiting for crews to take their positions. We are certain to have fun and I'm looking for eleven others to carry out bombing raids across the Channel. Feel free to PM me for more details.

Register and join KG 76 today!

Many thanks to Brooke for allowing me to post some footage of the 2013 Battle of Britain Scenario.

This August you can bet on seeing a firework show over southern Britain. The factories of AH-land have produced the Heinkels, now ready and willing pilots are needed. JOIN KG 76 TODAY!!!

Price, Alfred. Battle of Britain: The Hardest Day. (1979)

Pg. 42
At Ableige, just to the north of Paris, Unteroffizier Guenther Unger and Feldwebel Wilhelm Raab and their comrades of the 9th Staffel of Bomber Geschwader 76 had finished breakfast and were now moving to the disused school which was used as a briefing room. Rumour had it that there was something big on.

Something big is on, in fact. As the countdown looms, you have 1 month, 9 days, and 02 minutes before the fields open up for the first launch. The Heinkels of KG 76 can help you to experience one of the finest times Aces High can offer. Contact for any questions, join us today!

KG 76 is looking for pilots. Doesn't matter if you can only make one hour or all 12 - we will be happy to see you at any rate. Join up and get involved - AH doesn't get any better than a 12-hour Battle of Britain scenario.

The Luftwaffe needs pilots. The He-111s are standing by for the willing fliers ready to take the fight across the Channel.

Saturday, August 19th will be here in 21 days, 13 hours and 8 minutes. Don't miss out!

Can you say 8 days, 13 hours, and 45 minutes, and 37 seconds?

That's how much time you have left to wait before the first launch period of the "Hardest Day" scenario becomes active. We are in the crunch time before the scenario before some of the most intense air combat AH has to offer, folks. If you think you are going to participate, even if just for one launch window, I need you to register or at least notify me so I can get some head counts planned.

Recruit on! We need some more Heinkel pilots to take part in an amazing air battle over England. The date is Saturday, August 19th - and it will be the HARDEST DAY!
