Fw 190 cockpit
« on: June 25, 2017, 01:19:07 AM »
Hehe I would love the 190 cockpits to be updated to AH3 standards I love the new 110 cockpits and can't wait for the 190 cockpits to get the same treatment Cockpit updates are in the works correct? Because I haven't heard much besides the f4f and fm2 cockpits <S>

I've heard talk that hi tech is very secretive about updates and developments which kind of leaves me with a grim outlook about the future of the game at times even though I have a blast flying everyday. It gives an impression that the game is dwindling a bit especially to a newish returning player like myself.I know there's many updates to the game like big fixes and performance improvements, but content updates wise it seems quite small and spread out. <S> don't mean to offend anyone btw it is not my intention. Just my thoughts as i feel cockpits for planes are very important for immersion and I'd love to see the quality of all of them brought up <S>I feel communication is very important and a little something for the community to look forward to is a great and powerful tool to keep them enthusiastic about AH <S>

Check out the Skinning area. There are a few people that help HTC with the skinning of the toys we are given. They all work on them as they get time as they are volunteering their time and work.

Yea those are exterior skins of which we have some great ones in the game ,but I'm referring about updating the current interior cockpits to AH3 standards( bf 110's ,SBD /TBM and upcoming F4F) Having Nice hd skins is also amazing but we spend most of our times looking at the cockpits and some of them look harsh compared to many of the new flight sims. thank you sir <S>

The 190 family 3D model has to be updated as one package to AH3. That is what happened to the 110 family which resulted in the new cockpit.

It will probably be a while, they are almost finished with the AH I models being updated. I believe the 38 models are not far away as they were among the earlier models updated to AH II standards( and a screenshot of one on fhe occulous website does not reflect the detail of the model we have in game, which leads one to wonder).

So there will not be another update on those cockpits ? Because I don't see any difference beside lighting on the gauges to the 190 cockpits. That detail is lacking severely in my opinion compared to the 110's and TBM <S> If I get what you are saying that is very disappointing to say the least and AH3 graphical update really is underwhelming when we only have a handful of planes updated.<S>

Oooo yea I was wondering why there were ah 1 models still in the game...as in what is the point of updating and re building the game from the ground up when there is still content in the game from 2000( atleast update ah1 models before releasing "AH3" ) I understand that there is only a few people or maybe even one person working on it models but things feel as if they progress even slower than a snail pace. When will all planes be updated to AH3?...according to this trend if we are lucky maybe 2030 lol but in all seriousness there needs to be some communication and direction; dialogue with the community about what's in the work. This silent development is detrimental to new players who need new content or atleast the old stuff to be updated.Even as a new player it wasn't hard for me to realize the slow pace at which content has been added to the game over the years.communication is key to me and no I am not asking for dates and estimates for content( that is dangerous Bc not meeting deadlines will anger people )but cmon at least a dialogue because as of now I feel as if htc is behind and iron curtain. A developer blog as warhunder does or a weekly or monthly newsletter as in DCS <S>

All the aircraft get updated. It's not just a cockpit update, it's a full 3D model update. I believe that was Bustr's point.

I would guess the remaining AH1 models, of which the Bf110 was one, have priority.  They simply look so badly out of date in 2017.

After those have been updated I'd imagine the older and more prominent AH2 models would be next on the table.  The Fw190s fall into this category.
