I've been wondering the same thing?  Seriously, what benefits does it offer?

I am now just starting to use my 3rd different "dumbphone", and still have not had any problems with using any message boards for any product, gaming website, etc....

1st phone - HTC EVO 4G
2nd phone - HTC One M9
3rd phone - HTC U11 (newest / current) <------ glad I chose this over the iPhone 7 plus....  It offers everything the iPhone 7 plus offers and a heck of a lot more....

But still can't find a reason to load up "tapatalk"....

we need zack on payroll.  His frank discussions about his preferences and annoyances could make our lives better.

Zack, what compensation is needed for you to share your skills with us full time?

Can I get it on my Nokia 6230i? If not, I don't need it.

I love apps for smartphones that you can install to get functionality worse than the normal website you'd access if you didn't have the app.

Also, with this trend, you can have a poorly written app for every single web site you'd otherwise access via browser.

One good thing about it is it will put all your PMs in one inbox.

But of course most/all boards will send you an email when you get a PM.

My favorite part was when they started sneaking ads into it and I thought they were part of the thread at first.

If your on the internet you may slip and go somewhere else.  With a app your locked in the amusement park, with a nice paved highway for you to come back quickly.
