The sight works as designed in WW2, I checked it against the manual for that piece of hardware. As for the armored shroud, the gunner had a spotter. Maybe ask if Hitech can do something about that. It is hard to pick out cons unless you swing the sight and see them.

If I remember correctly, all the planes come with their historical sight.

The historic packs I used to create for AH2 were rolled into AH3 as the default reticles. I made sure each gunsight type had it's historic reticle associated to it.

At this point I'm not sure what you are looking for. Gunsights in WW2 did not have any real variations on the reticle pattern that I haven't included. If you look in the sights folder I included the night sight for a few. I even included the earliest N2 reticle used by the P39 and P40s.

Here is a .zip file of about 80 different gun sights. I have collected them over time. Most if not all were made by bustr. All the sights have the .mil file to go with it.

http://blackwidowsgaming.org/files/file/5-all-sights/

Just unzip the folder and then you can pick and choose. Copy and paste what you want to the sights folder and then you can select it in game as a gunsight.

Thank you buster...I recently started flying again so I hadn't really stepped into all the planes and configured there sights.. I did notice all the sights were there for the main planes I flew (190 and 109's etc) thank you for clarifying sir <S>
