I thought the ice was gone in 2013?  Maybe that trace compound that's is the source of carbon for earth based life is Not driving the weather.  :noid. Or maybe it is?  The facts show below normal temps in much of the arctic.  Although we are slightly warmer than the FORTY YEAR AVERAGE,  :rofl ok, looks like another day of survival on the docket for tomorrow.   :D

Enjoy  :salute

for about the last decade the sun has been chilling out.  another ice age on the way?  forecast calls for less and less sun activity.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maunder_Minimum

Last time the sun spots stopped the Thames froze a foot thick, Venice froze, and Greenland grew crops.  :O

Sure is cool this weather thing, quite the experience.

Sure hope the rest of the world can be fascinated as I with this knowledge.  Additionally, I think the rest of the world will bear the fruit of more CO2 in the air, Its almost as if humans have been lucky rather than good, in many ways I like it that way.

Oh comon manz  :D record ice in Greenland and bitter cold in Antarctica!   :D no summer yet.  :D great time to discuss.
Sure al Gore was wrong, he made the mistake of predicting within his lifetime.  Verdict is still out on that head British scientist who predicted Antarctica will be the only habitable place on earth by the end of the century.   :rofl

Feel good story of the day.  Regulations and wealthy consumer demand have spurred the industys next standard.  Now if we can keep the economy growing I'll be able to buy one.  :rofl

There is a difference between WEATHER and CLIMATE.

Wingman: "Roger, It's 1:30 now, what do I do 'til then?"

There is a difference between WEATHER and CLIMATE.
Big difference. And for the record: the area where the pic is taken is so far this year around 3 degrees C above average so its not going to help you to prove anything..

We have all the summer you could want.  :headscratch:

It is forecast to be over 100 degrees F, (38C) everyday for the next seven days. With a couple of those days forecast to be over 110 F, (43 C). But it's a dry heat (>30%), like dry your bellybutton into a piece of jerky.  :devil

The extended forecast has more of the same for next week too.

I wish we had 30% humidity, as we do have the upper 90's now as well, but it has been hovering at 60% for a couple of weeks now.  I walk out of the office and my glasses instantly fog over.  Crazy weather.
