As it looks like my Balkans ZG26 Bf-110D may be stuck in submission limbo for the foreseeable future I have decided to skin a ZG26 Bf-110C instead. This one is a Battle of Britain aircraft so it will be useful for the Hardest Day too. The photos used for reference come from Lyric1's excellent 110 thread.
This Bf-110 was flown by 3 Staffel of ZG26 during the Battle of Britain and was a C-1 model retro-fitted with later upgrades like an armoured windscreen and revised rear gun mount. The representation is of an early 1940 71/70 green/black green factory scheme that's been partially over-painted in the field with 02 grey and 65 blue to mimic the late 1940 factory scheme. The white nose and tail band were a unit ID used by I. Gruppe ZG26.
Looking at the screenshots again I may de-glare the white nose a bit before submission.
