certain planes on V-bases
« on: July 19, 2017, 12:59:29 PM »
the buzzsaw map has the I-16 and the Brewster that can lift off from a V-base.
my wish is to be able to take off from some V-Bases on all the maps.

Have been wished for previously and my suggestion is that the tank busters (IL-2, Hurri 2D and G-Stuka) would be available at the V-bases. Plus maybe add a rearm pad for fighters.

At least if Waffle was given the OK to enable those two planes at vBases on buzzsaw, the same can be done on new terrains.

Why are some tanks restricted though?

I can see the I-16 for sure, but the Brew, I'm thinking no.  At least the I-16 can ground pound a little with her rockets in defense.  Track a tank can make the difference. :)

But why only at V-bases?  Why not at ports as well?  I know you mean for some v-bases, and this can be so for ports as well. :aok

How about an A6M2-N at ports?

Well, they'd have to add her first. :P  She can replace the I-16 at ports then. :)

Why not just allow all EW planes or all 25 Eny planes available at vbases or ports as an experiment?

I think that was the old flak bases, and yes seems the german rides were unavailable ie they were red. but a huge +1 on lifting the brews and the i16 at them.  it was great. -1 on the rest

Why?  Seems like a great idea to me.  AvA used to have a limited plane set available at V-bases, it helped contribute to quick aerial fights.

I can +1 on yours except rearm pad.
