Still going through the numbers, but for now it seems FSO player count is actually significantly higher than years ago... relative to the total AH population, that is.

I can't speak for everyone, I have trouble with just myself at times, but this cartoon pilot has missed the last 3 FSO's because of "summer stuff"... Every weekend during this time of year is about competition, just not in the cartoon skies. 

I love FSO, even when it sucks, it's good.  Just can't always make it.

You missed the second statement? "I didn't say the numbers are higher", I said that they are higher relative to the AH population.

Example: FSO frame 2017-06-23

179 pilots total.
Of those, only 16 (9%) didn't play in the Melee arena in that month.
The remaining 163 FSO pilots averagely played 27.9 hours in the melee arena arena in June, that's about 2 hours more than the average Melee Arena pilot did.

At various times in the past I came to the same findings: Most FSO (and scenario) pilots also fly actively in the MA, and most of them very much so.

That and all folks go through times when they just do not play much for one reason or another. Ebb and flow.
