Then it is your squad that is missing out.  I think they have chosen a time that will accommodate the most people.  I understand that most people does not mean all people.  i work early the following mornings so I lose a bit of sleep that one night a week and it is well worth it.  Since you guys don't fly in it then I guess you've never been tempted to inconvenience yourselves to participate.  Go for it.  You can sleep when your dead.

You do not have to fly with your squad. You can fill in any squad. It is separate from melee.
