Set a default salvo

First shame on me for not checking my salvo, but I was flying a B-24 all day with a salvo of one, and then switched to a lanc.  It appears the last time I flew a lanc (weeks) I used a salvo of 4.  I didn't bother to check my salvo (my fault) because I had been a 1 egg drop in the 24's all day.  Oops.

I would like to request that aircraft salvo's either return to 1 after each flight, or give us the option to set a default salvo rather then the last salvo being used remaining active until changed.

I would like to see it like if you were to change a climb speed using the dot command.  It will pitch the aircraft for the manually input speed the entire flight, but when you re-up a fresh bird it will return back to default.

Personally, I prefer it to retain the last setting I used for that bird, instead of having to reset it.

Granted, depending on your mission and target, your salvo/delay may change, a lot of times we find ourselves flying the same type of mission in sequence. 

Retaining the previous mission settings is one less thing to muck with.

I see where you are coming from and that happens to us all at some point.  Fly the entire map in B29s only to drop it all in two pushes of the button...    lol

In the bomb site, the salvo is displayed. 

Having it happen to me MULTIPLE times, I say that when it does happen to us.  We deserve it.  Sort of like showing up to the maproom only to drop a supply...

 

Seriously though.  EVERY time I spawn on the runway I dot salvo one.  It has become a muscle memory now.
