Good buy Flippz, that's a good deal. That one @1080p or the other one in the thread @1440p will both be excellent. It doesn't have Gsync (I think), but IMO, it's not as crucial as having a 144hz, or at least 100+hz monitor anyway, and I have had 1/2 dozen different Gsync monitors in the last year and a half. It's good, for sure, but not the first item on my list for a must have gaming monitor, which is 144 or 165hz, or at the very least 100hz for the larger 34" panels. That 27" Asus is very similar to the first ROG TN 27" panel I got, also a 1440p unit, and the only big difference is it had Gsync, which again, isn't a huge deal IMO, with AH3 I never noticed that big of a diff with or without Gsync. Seeing AH3 at 2k @144hz or 165 now is impressive. The new 27" 4k 144hz Gsyncs from Acer and Asus just got delayed this week until the end of q1 2018, which is a bummer, as I've been waiting a year since they announced them. The ultimate gaming unit IMO, 4k with 144hz, and also the ultimate price, I'm expecting 1500USD at least, but it'll likely be the last gaming monitor(s) I buy, with VR becoming so prevalent.
The improvement over 60 is amazing, I picked up the Asus 24" VG248qe 144hz back in 2012 when it first came out, everyone who saw games on it wanted a 144 after that, and every person on this forum who has asked others about it, and bought a high hz gaming monitor hasn't complained afterwards, that's for sure.
1070 should be able to have AH3 on max and run max 144fps @ 1080p, and probably much of the time @ 1440p too. I see dips to the 120s, and even low 100s in very, very busy areas over smoking bases at low altitude in 1440p w/1080/1080ti/Titan cards and B-E 6800 and 6850 CPUs. Anything over 100fps IMO is very hard to distinguish from each other, but 60 to 100 is instantly noticeable.
