Reconciliating with HTC's reputation (a steam heads up)
« on: August 16, 2017, 01:26:36 PM »
I know alot of people have been rubbed the wrong way, or HTC has seen them rubbing them the wrong way. Some have gone out of their way to try and deconstruct the game or the community itself through various means.

Does HTC have a reputation that we should be worried about when steam comes online?

Exactly how would a newbie feel about HTC as a company?

The people who have rubbed HTC the wrong way will probably poo-poo the game when its on steam and mess with its potential.

This is something that bothers me, because I would like to see full arenas again and endless player count. Steam in a way will either make the game or reveal how unattractive it has become.

I'm ..... not getting this. You think HTC rubs people the wrong way? I think some people rub themselves the wrong way. I mean that in a platonic way, of course.

I am not sure arlo. Maybe its the type of person this game attracts but there is apparent dislike on the surface of things from what I can see.

HTC staff is passionate as it's their business.  We are passionate as the consumer because we love the game and sometimes see a lot of potential that could/should be added, but at the end of the day we are guests in Hitchechs virtual living room and he can do as he pleases.  If that means making the greatest game of all time he is free to do so, just as he is free to tear it down without any warning or explanation at all.

This topic is just on the edge of being a troll. It has potential to rapidly head down hill, so I am shut it down before the stone rolling ends up injuring some one.
