One click to install all the latest patches

I wish a routine could be written so that as soon as I fire up AH, the program auto detects whether or not it is up to date with patches, and if not a pop up would tell me:

"There are three (or however many) new patches available. Install them in the usual location? [Y] [N]"

Then all three (or however many) would automatically be installed without need for my intervention.

Afterwards, AH would start up automatically.

Once AH launches on steam in a few days you can use it to keep the game always updated.

why would you not want to see what the patch updated or added to the game.
-1 the system is fine the way it is. I look forward to seeing patches and to see what was changed or added.
when Skuzzy comes on and says a new patch is ready to download I log off and then back on to immediately get the download and see what they are changing or adding.

What he is asking for is pretty reasonable.

Our normal patch cycles see one patch a week issued.  If a player is gone for a month, then they are faced with multiple patches to get to the latest version.  It can cause confusion on the part of players who are not used to that.

They think things are broken when they have to continually update, not realizing each patch is bringing them one step closer to the current released version.

We continue to look at these things and explore better ways to do it.

lol, have you ever thought any wish on here was a good idea?  This one is so common sense it would hurt to type -1 for it.  Every patch install should include the patch notes from previous version as well, so if you get 3 in a lump you would see the changes for all 3 anyway, no need to install and start the game 3 times just to read notes.

Any idea how it will work with Steam Skuzzy?

If you are running the Steam version, I believe it will work like the Oculus version does and they will supply their own patch.  Not 100% sure of that, but I believe that is the way it will work.
