Hey Lazer,  I've been playing a lot of pubg lately.  I hated it at first, because I have issues with 3rd person camera views in shooters.  Once they added the option for first person only games I've really enjoyed it.

I'm on Steam under the same name, feel free to hit me up if you want to player a few rounds.

PUBG is a lot of fun, first person servers is the best thing they could have done for this game.

Here, here, I got the game just before they were introduced and I hated the 3rd person view.  Having the first person version was a game saver for me.

I just got into it yesterday after a lot of waiting. Got my first place prize during the first match this morning

It certainly can be a lot of fun trying to survive. It's real easy getting caught in a bad place. I've found duos and group matches are a lot more challenging than the solo free for all.

I've had a few chicken dinners.  The game is pretty damn hard.

Come second twice, still no chicken for me.  Closest I came I was in position and had line on a guy that had level 3 armor, only thing I had was a VSS and I failed to put enough rounds into him before he killed me.  Sadness ensued.

If you think you are having a 1v1 in the Main Arena, your SA has failed you.

If you spam the VSS really quickly while slightly pulling down from recoil you can get him before he even moves :). Takes bout 5 shots.

Yeah I've got to work on my recoil control.  I'm not fast yet.

Hmmmm, apparently this is the game for which one my sons just did youtube video, shooting most of it in my front yard.  He evaluates how protective the cast iron pan is against various rounds.  It's a pretty interesting, he put it up on his web site.  I didn't know he had it up yet until he just texted me and told me it had 135,000 views already.

Enjoy.

Shooters on PC are far superior than consoles. PUBG is a great game even at the Early Access stage.

Console is for plebians, FPS much better on PC as Spikes said. I recommend PUBG, lots of fun.

Lazer, if you were asking can you use a controller, the answer is yes.

I know the feeling. The best thing to do is constantly scan the area. Use you ALT key to be able to swivel your head without changing direction of where you are going.
