Hitech.. a different thread reminded me of our old text buffer settings for notifying of when a kill happened...  i think it mentioned who killed who in what types of planes as it happened during a sortie.

Any chance we will ever see that again?  Maybe in combination with the landing message?

It was changed due to the text buffer filling up with kill messages. I doubt we'll see it come back.

Now with all the new ones from steam maybe not.
But then the chat window now has multiple tabs, and they could be moved to one to not distract too much, depending on preferences.

1) clutter
2) I don`t want every opposing side player to know what I am as a player doing in real-time. I don`t mind post flight messages because I rarely do the exact same thing twice.

Seeing my name in lights is not important to ME just as score, perks,
whatever are 
Some I guess enjoy it... this is just my opinion
and the -1 reflects it
