Dear all MA players. It is my contention that you've all devolved into a bunch of hipster, lightweight, egocentric, narcisisticly-groomed nancy boys, who hide under the tactical imperatives of a 'real-war' to escape getting shot down. Of course you're pretending to save your plane to fight another day. A virtual plane. I totally believe you.
Once there was a time when a larger percentage of AH players would nut up & pitch themselves, their favourite aircraft and their finest ACM against each other in a one-on-one duel. Fight to the death and deal with it. Reflect why and try to improve for next time. This was their finest hour.
If you tire of the decadence of the gaming equivalent of your name being written on a Starbuck's coffee cup, find the cushy fantasy-protected, all-convenience and instant reward-based society tiresome, and crave for something challenging for a change. If names like Hans-Joachim Marseille, Hiroyoshi Nishizawa or Georges Guynemer mean something to you, then come and join the small cadre of Match Play regulars. Leave your ego in the hat stand at the door. Fight hard, die hard and learn from your defeats and victories. You'll learn more ACM in ten two minute fights than you will in two weeks of MA handbag contests.
Two men enter, one man leave.
See you there.
