Gun photos (Picture heavy)

Shooting them (with a camera) is almost as much as shooting them!
I am absolutely out of my area of expertise in this type of subject matter photography (Sports photography is my best) but I'm learning all the time.

Nice touch with the relevent accoutrement in each shot. If there aren't contests for this kind of 'guns in the wild' photography, there should be.

I'm going to use some of them for screen desktop backgrounds if you don't mind.

The 1908 vest pocket is my favorite shot. I have one of those but most of the blueing is gone, yours looks pretty nice.

Great work Rip, you've built up a very cool collection in a short period of time, since you started reloading/shooting and posting about it.  Those pictures are fantastic, look like they've come right from a magazine or brochure.

You've raised my confidence level in this area of photography.

Mav, the Trapdoor is .45-70 and the Savage pictured is .250-3000. I now have two savages both made in 1913, one is .250 and the other 22HP. My other Savages are a pre-war 99EG .300 Savage made in 1940 and a 99C Series A in .308.

RIP, I dabbled in photography a long time ago. Loved macro work, sort of like the kind of work that you display here, but you're better than I ever was. These are very well done. Keep at it.

Nef, quick question, is a 1943 "sniper" Mosin Nagant more valuable than a plain jane? I've been told by about $50 more. (I guess one way to tell is to open the bolt, look on the left side of the receiver and look for two black plugs?)

I've heard that's one of the indicators yes. As far as value, haven't really been following the Mosin prices but they seem to have increased significantly.
