GV won't come out of 1st gear

Having and odd issue when upping a GV. They won't shift out if 1st gear. It doesn't matter if I manually shift or just hit shift W for full speed. Sometimes I make make it work by moving my rudder pedals but it's not 100% of the time, maybe 10%.

Try adding deadband to the rudder.

If the game "see's" ANY input from the rudders it wont shift, that is why you need to add some dead band, and why it sometimes fixes your issue.

Go into the Map Controllers menu.  Sit and watch the numbers, with your hand off the stick, in parentheses next to the axis inputs.

Any one of the axis inputs numbers shifting around would prevent the vehicle from shifting out of gear.  Select the axis, check the "Advanced" option.  Now add a little deadband.  You should be able to see the effect in the graphs of that panel.

Deadband on the rudder seems to have fixed it.
