And I used music, to make it safe for work..  my squaddie was unhappy with the base-take effort going on and may have cast shade on someone's honor..  but that's why we are furball nation, right?  And damn proud of it, lol.

Just an impression Hollywood - I suspect your joystick is faulty. Have a quick check offline in Windows mode and see if there's any spiking, especially around the neutral position. Don't know how old it is but it's quite likely to fail there first.

Thanks nrshida.. Lazer has told me the same thing.  It's an older js.  And I think germ is talking about me.. I think I was AFK, and the cat was pushing my controls around when he happened to shoot me down a few times.  That darn cat.

Just especially when you're fine adjusting for a shot your nose is like a Volkswagen Beetle with siezed dampers. One further experiment might be to film, line up, and close your eyes two seconds before firing and then review the film. If that looks smoother then the pots in your brain need cleaning
