I have taken my oath

Today I had signed my contract and have taken my oath to become a US sailor and I wanted to thank the aces high community. For me to say that this game and it's community of veterans and amateur historians had no impact on a kid no older than 13 would be a lie. I am now 23 and Joining the navy as an Aviation machinest mate with prior a&p experience. Thank you all!  :cheers:

Best of luck to you on your new endeavor. Keep in mind boot camp is there to not only teach you the Navy way but also grind off the civilian so you fit inside the machine. Lots of folks say to keep a low profile, don't volunteer for anything and don't try to be a leader in boot camp. I say use your head. There will be times to step up and times to step back. The Military experience gives you what you put into it. Don't be that guy that looks for the easy way all the time and damn sure don't be the guy that doesn't support your buddy. It is all a team effort so be ready to support it.
