White screen shot and video feed capture.

For a few months now i haven't been able to take screen shots or stream the game. It just shows a white picture for everyone.

I use the stand alone client,not through steam.

Any ideas why?

If you're an Nvidia user, it might be the drivers you're using.

My rig is a little older, beefed up with a GTX970. I can't use the newer drivers at all! Last week I gave the latest ones a try and for the rest of the evening they seemed to work well. Even started AH without issues. The next day I started to get those "Stopped responding and restarted" messages even for starting my e-mail client. Finally, starting AH gave me the same message and a blank window with music only. Back to the ones that work, the ones I found by trial and error.

The game itself runs GREAT, i just cant take screen shots,and if i stream everyone see's the same blank white screen. :/

DX9 or DX11 version of the game?

Both with DX9 and DX11.

PrintScreen only results in a white picture, grabbing a movie with FRAPS results in a black film.

If you're running a mulit-monitor rig, the PRT SC key might be taking a snapshot of the wrong one.

My second monitor (actually my TV screen) is simply mirroring my primary screen, when on.
However, both with it on or off it's still all white with PrtScrn or all Black when capturing film with FRAPS.

Have you tried with the second monitor physically disconnected from your PC?

Not yet, because it's physically difficult to remove the connector from my computer
(of course I also had tried it with the TV being completely shut off, which is the default)

I want to add that it works with other games, for example DCS.

I was just wondering, because my PRT SC key on the keyboard captures the wrong monitor, unless I unplug it.
Shadowplay/Share takes a screenshot of the correct monitor.
I've yet to try the in-game screenshot.  I'll try that in a few and see what happens.

Just tried the in-game screen-shot and it captured the correct/primary monitor.

Primary Monitor-DVI.
Monitor 2-Display Port
Monitor 3-HDMI

To my knowledge, the PrtSc button has never worked in the DX11 version of the game.  It has only worked in the DX9 version.

I just verified it and everything is still working as it did before.

I have not tried Fraps.

Using Dx11 version. Also using obs studio & twitch for streaming.

Thing i dont understand is why i cant even take a screen shot without it showing up whire, and in MY steam it shows it being rendered sound and all,but all other people see is that same white picture. also i only have a single monitor.

If it is a Dx11 issues, then how can i run it under dx9 and maybe get screenshots/video out of it again?

Ok confirmed,it is a dx11 client issue, i ran dx9 version and everything works flawlessly. o7
