For over 8 years now and (still even today) I have been all about the air battling. Up until recently I have found a new love. Killing tanks in a Ju-87g2. It’s extremely satisfying and somewhat challenging. 7/7 recommend trying this if you are board with some aspect of the game.

Also. Mosquitos are BA.  One of my new fav planes. Try one

Ju-87g2 is for Girls. Real men use the Hurri IID with the 40MM AP of doom!    We will have to compare notes.  I have had zero luck cracking Tigers, and T-34/76's take some work.  Everything else is a tasty treat.

Personally I have more luck with the hurricane 2D. Although recently I have been doing surprisingly well with the 110. With a lot of luck I killed 4 tanks in one sortie with it, guns only. 1 m8 (no challenge), 1 panzer, 1 m18, 1 wirb. The panzer was the surprise kill. Didn’t think the 30mm could crack it.

I have busted Wirbels with the 37mm HE on the YakT (straight down into turret) but never a Panzer.  Where did you hit it?

I've killed turrets or tracks on Panders but never been able to kill one with 30MM

It took two or three passes, but it popped when I was shooting at about a 40 degree angle into the engine from the rear. It shocked me because I didn’t think it was possible.

I've busted T-34's with the Yak 9T, so it's quite doable.

Also: 87G is a true man's machine.  Once you at there, you are stuck there until everything is dead.  All or nothing.

The guns of the Ju-87G are superior to the Hurri D, but they are more difficult to employ (slower, less maneuverable plane, angle of impact playes a much greater role with the Junkers than with the Hurri D). Also, no MG to shoot the running troops

When vehicles first came out, you could kill panzers with the 30mm mk108.

Things have changed alot and I doubt the kill was due to the 30mm,Becinhu, probably someone else shot at it with a tank or they just ended sortie.

GV hunting in the G2 is a blast, one of my favorite things to do in game. I can open up a Sherman like a can of tuna with it

 Back in AH2 I used to constantly pop tank engines with the 37 on the 9T. Have not tried it much in AH3 and I can already see where it is much more difficult due to the updated terrain (tree's)  but I will be giving it a go in the future.
