We interrupt this thread for an important statistical message:

In the 2017 season, the Ju-87G is ranked #17 in airborne tank killers with 658 registered kills. The Hurri D is #18 with 655 kills. The Il-2 has made a stunning comeback and is currently #2 (2367 kills). Uncontested #1 still the A-20 (4463 kills)

That wouldn’t surprise me. I didn’t think you could kill a panzer with the 30mm. I must have put enough rounds into him to get credit for the kill.

That wouldn't help you in this specific instance. It only shows total kills in the Hurricane D. My list was about killed tanks (M-18 excluded) only.  :old:
You would have to look it up yourself for the last 10 tours...

I still think the IL2 is an amazing base defense plane.  There were a few people who were very vocal about it being nerfed because F3 was taken away... I still love to fly it, and love to be able to reach out and touch people with the 37s...  It can turn very well with flaps out and can take a beating.  It's a lot of fun to defend bases with still.  F3 is for noobs.   :old:

The Ju-87Gs cannon has a much better penetration. But you really  have to hit the armor as perpendicular as possible.
