Just Updated Gunnery Training terr with BB's.

I just uploaded a new version of my terrain "gunnery" with two battleship task groups to practice 16in gunnery with offline. You can get it by going online to the Player tab and creating a new arena using the "gunnery" terrain from the menu. Close down that terrain, then go offline, un-protect objects from being destroyed in your own country. Then you can man the BB and shoot at all the other task groups steaming around. In the objects tab you can set down times for objects like ships to 1 minute so once you sink one it comes back in 60 seconds. The Trainers can help you modify the arena settings to un-protect objects, set longer view ranges, make the haze disappear, set fuel burn to .010, set ammo for planes to 10x and set object down times to a minute.

There are fighter and bomber airspawns, a GV spawn to put a wirbel 800 from the drones, manned ack to practice against static tanks or against drones at realistic ranges. You can spawn a tank to tank town or outside of the town to drive around and try to see about 200 static tanks. AP rounds will only spark on them while HE and bombs will quickly kill them because they are static objects. One of the fighter airspawns sets you just above the drone circle so you don't have to climb up and others set you up to practice jabo. There is a 15k bomber airspawn so you can practice level bombing on a target at the end of the 4mile tank range that the hangers are set to the same hardness as online. There are other lower bomber airspawns to practice torpedo runs on ships. Just look around and spawn to see everything including 17lb and 88 setup on tank ranges to practice against static tanks.

Hey bustr, is there any way on god's green earth to create and place berms in the terrain?  I tried and couldn't get anything near a berm.  I'm wondering if creating a berm object, or a terrain object with multiple berms, is the way to go.  Then drop the berm field wherever you want in the terrain, like placing a field or town or shore batt in a terrain.  It would be something like a town's terrain or gv base terrain, without any of the gun pits, hangars, etc.  Just bare, bermy terrain.

You would have to use a third party 3D editor and create a custom object. Then create a custom tile or just place the object one at a time. I do not know if Hitech would approve it for the Melee arena. In the terrain editor if you check disable ocean and wire frame, you will see the smallest area you can raise as a single point on the terrain field, about 1\4x1\4 mile.
