cant even get off the ground

back after 5 years away and trying to reset up everything. very frustrating as cant get the calibration to take for my controls. so when I start off the plane accelerates then slews left (no matter what I do ) and crashes. The rudders move visually and in outside view I can see them move fully left and right etc but the effect on the plane when moving is minimal.
I have windows 10, CH pro throttle and flightstick and saitek rudders.
I have also calibrated in windows..  very very frustrating..
Im sure there's something simple Ive forgotten.. what is it?

Is Auto Take-Off turned off in the clipboard settings?
Are axis controls set to rudder/pitch and aileron and not trim settings?

Wish I could be more help.  I know how frustrating setting up a stick can be sometimes.

Check the calibration in the game. If your rudder pedals are old and sloppy they may be kicking the "auto" take off off.  Be sure in the scaling/advanced window that the controls are not fluctuating . If so, add some dead band to clean it up.

If u are manually taking off, make sure u have the stick pulled back

I would try auto-takeoff first, until you get the feel back.

Rudders are not very effective when there is little air flow over them, so at start off roll, they are almost useless.  Roll on the throttle until you get some air speed over the control surfaces and that will help.

Or use auto-takeoff and just throttle up.

Also go to the Options->Controls->Map Controllers panel and see if any of the axises are floating (i.e. input with no stick motion).  Just watch the numbers in parentheses and if any change when you are not moving the stick, then that is errant input from the stick.  A little deadband added to that axis will normally smooth things out.
