Preul (Don) hit the jackpot in the National Archives when he uncovered an order from Pearl Harbor commander Husband Kimmel directing that the ships under his command be painted a shade referred to as Mediterranean Blue.

    USS Arizona Memorial Museum and Visitor Center
    Thanks to the generosity of the Starr Foundation, a new USS Arizona battleship scale model has been built to replace the existing model in the USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center Museum. Using newly discovered research about the USS Arizona and the latest model building technology, the new model will be the most accurately depicted replica of the USS Arizona battleship to date. Eight USS Arizona survivor veterans will assist with the official unveiling, to be followed by a Hawaiian Blessing and reception.
