The Winter terrset isn't available in the OE
« on: November 30, 2017, 01:28:34 AM »
Like the title says, the Winter terrset isn't available in the OE for Sq tiles or new terrsets. I tried to work around it by using a winter tree name in the .swa file for a .til but the OE crashes on launch.
If making a terrain tile, it ignores the winter tree after editing the .swa file. Neither "../Trees/wwhitefirspec.srt" or "../wwhitefirspec.srt" worked.

Unsurprisingly, the same thing happens when trying to install one at random in the TE from the tree list, but at least it sees the ETO winter terrset04.

Next, my tree requests for trees from terrset00 to be added to terrset04.

Thanks

Some winter conifers showed up in my test terrain. I couldn't find them in the original set so this appears to be a recent addition. Either way, Thanks!

FSO last night was on the winter tile set. The snow features were not being inherited to base objects and to all the TT 2x2 objects that were laid down on the terrain.

How is snow coded, as clutter?  Maybe the _CL file needs to get modified.
