Will the Americans have bombers enabled?

I don't recall them being involved on December 7th,1941...other then the flight that was supposed to come in on that morning.....and they would have been unarmed

In the meantime, the Pearl Harbor battle rages in the AvA. Great practice for Brook's Pearl Harbor. And here's some screenshots from the AvA terrain. It runs all weeks.

Example:
Easy in-game again.
Since Tour 19 - 2001

That terrain in AvA is AWESOME.

Folks, if you haven't been in there to see what a great job they did, you owe it to yourself to do so!  :aok

Am I left to assume this will be the same as years past? The US at 20,000 feet circling for the raiding japanese? aka the pearl harbor turkey shoot.  I really dont want to be duped again.

 :salute

I will give credit to you for getting me excited again, hoping for a realistic setup.

Heh.  Probably one of those historical battles that can't be structured to be perfectly fair, no matter what you do.

Years ago we came up with the "Lost Cause" series of wargames we'd like to see some day.  They included, of course, Pearl Harbor, along with Custer's Last Stand, the Alamo and others that seemed to have preordained conclusions.

well it could be made more realistic if you couldn't launch until the base you're at started flashing. then it would be a mad scramble. the other problem is the sheer numbers of one side vs the other. if both sides are even, then its already out of whack. if you lean more to one side, then that side complains they got slaughtered. how do you make it reasonably even? historically, it wasn't! 2-1 numbers should help keep it close.
