Rud3boi is an awsome chap by the way. Slightly better stick than I I think but close, but his bloody aim. If he gets the muzzle of that Glock Magnum anywhere near you you're a gonner. No wonder New York is now so safe. I've only used a bow and an air rifle with some extra grease in it. Hardly seems fair!

Just as a counterpoint to some of the base-taking and GV whining going on about game changes around here lately:

Yesterday I had a most awesome Match Play session against Blade san in his Spit9 - a formidable opponent-plane combination in the MPA. Had my ACM reactor on 120% the whole time, barely kept control for most of the flights and came away with one new experimental piece of ACM, one fault in my knowledge to correct and two things to master on my own time and learned more in that 30 minutes (including about an hour of reflection) than I typically have in months of bumbling around in the MA or former DA furbal lake.

MPA is awesome. Quality. Not quantity.

 

Blade is a worthy adversary.    Probably the best fight S Ive had In the last year.  What is scary, In the MA he is stealthy like a Ninja.  Truly a Guru of the game.

Absolutely gargantuan battle going on in MPA right now between Blade, Rud3boi and I. Never had fights like them! Happy Friday indeed!

 


The only thing spoiling it is trying to watch Lawrence of Arabia in the background YAWN.

Yea they were awesome fights. Blade sure is a great stick and so are you. PM anytime you want to duel and tell me the time and day. I will be happy to do them again.

How are changes to the GV game in any way relevant to what I like to do in Aces High or in any way my fault?

Since I started in 04 ( I think) I've never ever logged in and not have fun in this game one way or another.. Some nights I'm the fly and other nights I'm the fly swatter.. Whether it's in gvs, planes, bomber missions or some ww1 fun.. The game is definitely worth playing.. But that's just me

Well then it's all good then......for you. But there are a boat load that haven't come back, or came back and left. One of the first guys who helped me in this game, Banana he's never returned....when they switched off AH II that was the end for him. I glad the games working for you, and you might have some added perks as your going to see a lot more low level B 29 in the near future...as I burn off the Bomber perl

so I guess you're going to leave the game? Since you're going to be burning off perk rides... This was a feel good thread but my curiosity makes me want to ask.. Why you leaving? What has changed? Is it the GV dar? What I'm about to say isn't directed at anyone in particular.. However people's expectation and standards seem to be set to the impossible to please setting.. If they try to make one group happy the other group is not.. What has changed for you? Edited.. And just for the record there are things I don't like in the game..a couple of are the way the game is designed.. (fixable thru updates) the rest are the players themselves related but that can't be fixed by hitech I'm one of the few I guess that figured that out early so I don't hold that against the game makers
