With Operation Sealion firmly shelved, the Reich now has focused on keeping the Allied (British, Canadian, and American) forces at bay while they move their attention to the new eastern front in Russia. The Luftwaffe still launches airstrikes - but most are now taking off during the evening hours to bomb London by night - except that the RAF, RCAF, and USAAF are now trying to intercept the bomber raids just after takeoff over the channel.  Italy's Regia Aeronautica commander Rino Fougier has let Hermann Göring that the need to redeploy their forces back to Italy due to the allied pressures south of their border - this will be their last fight north of France.
