Bf 109G-2 flown by Gerhard Barkhorn in October 1942, based out of Maikop, Russia. Barkhorn scored victories 65-77 that month. He would survive the war as the second highest scoring ace in history with 301. His wife's name, Christl, was painted on the side of all of his aircraft, except his Me 262 while he was in Jv 44.
