Last night we had a player frustrated who left KOTH because he thought he wasn't cut out for it.

Everyone is good enough to participate in KOTH.

It took me a year of participating in KOTH to win a single round, took me almost 2 to win a KOTH event.

In that time I was spending most of my time flying 1 ride a tour, and spending hours fighting the best names in the DA...often losing every single fight.

That's how I got to the point where I succeed in KOTH...D ont think I'm saying you have to as well in order to succeed or even have a good time. Just come out, have a good time, and learn more every month...either by your own fights or by watching others fight.

TC and I had an awesome fight in K4s and the best thing you could take away was how TC knew how to extend from the fight and reset it as soon as I started getting an upper hand in scissors. He didn't run 5K away...he went maybe to 1K and turned back for a remerge....that's the type of flying in KOTH that can translate over to the MA or other special events....I'm not that good at it, but I will watch my stream of it later to see how he times it.

I said it last night on stream, Phast is one of the players who has grinded out getting killed over and over in KOTH...this year he will be participating in TOC.

Short story is, stick with it..take the beatings, it's only a game...the better everyone is at ACM the better the fights as a whole will get in the Air of Aces High.

Yeah my first KOTH ever was when Bruv, Kazaa, TonyJoey, Grizz, DrBone, Sunsfan, and Batfink were all present. Let me tell you, only being in Be game 6 months..... I GOT SPANKED


Chin up take the loss. Learn from it. Come back next month and maybe win a round or two!

All these guys are beatable. But for some reason i got trouble shooting them down. lol. Every time i join i get a little better and closer to showing them who is boss.

Let me put this straight i am am probably the underdog here and yet i find it Amazing and Exiting to fight against all these good sticks. Its so much fun to fly some one that has a better understanding of the game and i love observing what they do and add it to my own flying style. And for some reason this event gets me so pumped. I would like to invite everyone to try it for sure. Even if you are new.

Also i am scared to death to fly in KOTH but i am glad i did, one of the most fun events we have here.

If you feel you are being teamed up on or someone is not playing by the rules send the host a pm and voice your concern. Any host will watch for violations.

I actually agree with junky this time.. When I first started I couldn't last one turn after the merge... Now after 13 years of hard work thru trial and error  I can last well into turns 3 or 4 before they they due that ACM stuff and get on my 6...I really need to learn that stuff but I'm still having a blast tryin and dyin!! Once you learn that they will give you another plane and you don't really die then it's all about the fun

Gentlemen,

My first go round with KOTH was late 2017.
Like most first timers, i felt i wont last a merge or two, but after participating i realized that everyone has a chance. You will get your shots, but it flat out comes down to gunnery, and sometimes the other guy is just better. Winning is fun, loosing is fun,,,,the whole event from top to bottom is fun.

Like others have said, you learn, win or loose and come back a better pilot. I look forward to these events, they for sure get the blood/adrenaline pumping, that will keep you coming back!

Y’all are a bunch of rutabagas if you can’t handle losing your first 1-10 KOTH rounds. It takes time to learn how to win one.


If you have to go run and hide because you got beat bad your first time, go hide in a GV or Bomber in the MA.
