yes that'll do very nicely for any current game, let alone AH3.    :aok

any reason why you didn't select an SSD drive? they are great!

Plus where are they selling those parts for that cheap??!   :headscratch:

You've done your homework well!  :aok

I fully agree with not having an SSD, no games get advantage of it unless you're in such a hurry you can't wait for three minutes to get into the cartoon skies.

+1 on that price question. I'd be willing to place an order for that price! Or, are they perhaps what you have to pay extra above some regular setup?

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

Having an SSD for the OS is a smart idea.  Use the HDD for games and other programs.

There is something way fishy on those prices, no way someone is selling those that cheap without a catch. They got the decimal point in the wrong spot on some or the website is a scam.

You sure you arent trying to lease a computer?

You're going to pay in the end. (or from the end)

In case of the recent security isses/bugs with Intel processors and performance loss from patches you may want to look at using an AMD Ryzen setup instead.
To save some money you may want to change the 1070 for a 1060 6 GiB but this depends on the games you wanna play.
PSU is way oversized - 500W Seasonic or other quality brand would be sufficient + still offering reserve for upgrades.
A SSD should be used as primary drive for OS with a minimum size of ~250 GB and a HDD of at least 2 TB for storage. A 500GB drive is easily filled, data fragments a lot with windoze updates and you may easily run into space problems once a new windows upgrade installation is pending.
