Hoooweee someone got mad at me in the MA a few days ago. I was flying the P-47 at about 18K just flying. Then I see him. A 190 at about 25K. "Hmm...I can't win with him, so I'll keep flying and see if he does the same" I tell myself. I pass under him and he doesn't turn. "Whew" I sigh. Nope, on a second check here he comes. I throw it into a dive. I grin to myself, knowingI can outdive him. At 8K and 460 MPH, I check again. He's still gaining! "Crap." I go level and wait. He going for the kill. at D600, I pull up a bit and roll over. At this speed he couldn't follow. He blows under my canopy. I pull back a bit and give him a squirt, and his right wing is fluttering in the breeze. Leveling off and continuing my sighseeing, he comes on the private channel, accusing me of cheating and how he will send the film to HTC.

Ah, I finally have been inducted into the "Accused of Cheating" club.

Don't you just love it?

IMO the blessed accusation is made even more treasurable because they went private to say it. Even the dumbest newby learns to talk on channel one with in the first week. That you got one able to whine on private is fantastic.

Man, sounds like you played it smart knowing where you aircraft performs better. Too bad he's on a witch hunt, god forbid you shoot him (and his ego) down

Last few nights, I've had some great fights, all ending in Salutes and such. I've really enjoyed flying the last couple of nights.

I still remember way back in WB when the Jug first came out. I killed a guy in a P-51 using careful energy management. He started higher than I did, but I had hidden my E in speed and managed closure to suck him in. It went like this:

Lephturn: Nice fight!
NamelessDweeb: Hey, a 47 can't out-turn a Pony!
Lephturn: It's called "E fighting".
NamelessDweeb: A 47 shouldn't be able to beat a Pony! It's a worse plane.
Lephturn: The plane wasn't what beat you... it was the pilot.

NamelessDweeb: You cheated! Your hacked!
Lephturn: Buwahahahaha, yeah I "hacked" you with my ACM

NamelessDweeb: Where can I download that ACM thing? Tell me please!
Lephturn: LMAO! Ahahahahaha! <thunk>

Actually I did offer to explain and train this fellow, but he was CONVINCED I cheated. LOL. Those are the moments you remember.

good way to get someone to call you a cheater - load up a big bomber with the little 100lb bombs and carpetbomb an airfield in a single string attack. It is certain to get at least one cry of "hey unlimited bomb boy you cheater!!!"

. I still remember my very first flight in WB, when i was instantly accused of warp cheating

in CT fariz told me that im cheater

(was under my second kill in row, and im sure that he was kidding
