Well, I've never seen that written with a "B".

I've never had that sort of "Finland Breakfast" either, must be because I've never learned to smoke cigarettes. Smoking fish is another thing.

"Plörö" used to be popular during the Prohibition 1919-32. Coffee houses used to sell it, as well as "Hard Tea".  It's pronounced somewhat like "blur-uh", reminiscent to the sound of pouring liquid into a pot. The letter "ö" in Finnish is pronounced like the indefinite article "a" in English - not like the letter "A".

This might make up for it. It's been my favorite for years:

Aargh! According to Viral Video Chart that was the most clicked Internet video of August 24, 2007

What's even more embarrassing is that it was originally shown on TV back in 1979 when we only had two channels! One might assume that the standards were high... Actually, they were: The backing band consisted of leading studio musicians and the dancers were from a top dance group.

Searching for more information about that revealed it was a clip from a TV show I used to follow with my family!  :embarrassed:

Here's the right recipe for the Plörö.
Put the coin on the bottom of the coffee cup.
Add coffee so much that you can no longer see the coin.
Add vodka so much that you can see the coin again.
Enjoy like a shot. Do not swallow the coin.
That really wakes you up.
Like hill start for your body at hangover mornings.

Ismo should be an English teacher. Or comedian.  :D
