Sweet memories...... Flashing very quickly by.

Yeah Peart put the word out a while ago he just can't do it physically anymore. I attribute all my air drumming skills to him!

Just another high school dance band!

Long ago in a far away land I used to hang with Neil's younger brother,Neil was in his first band, called Fluud. Rush played our high school with their first drummer but he had to stop playing with the band because he was diabetic and ended up hospitalized. This is when Neil joined Rush!

I actually sat at Neil's old drum kit in his parents house!   All that said I'm not a fan, still see them as some high school band that got a record contract! :D

I've got a few favorites and Caress of Steel is one of them.  Their music was constantly evolving over their 40 years so it's difficult to pick a #1.  Maybe if I picked a favorite for each decade ...

Yes they were, they played many school on friday nights!

Back then Neil's band "fluud"was much more popular, atleast in my neck of the woods. They also played many schools.

I only met Neil a few times,he was rather shy and not into the nonsense his younger bother and I were up too!

Yeah, I think it was common in those days for just starting out bands to play schools, churches etc.

I like all the albums but I keep skipping to moving pictures, even now.  My kids like it too :)
