I hope everyone enjoyed the event. It was a unique setup which required some substitiutes. I know many do not like substitutes, but I think the fights were balanced. I can say that the fights Kommando Nowotny were involved in were intense, hard fought, and extremely fun. There was action aplenty all over the map.

It was a blast and in the final frame i was glad to see some trickery by the allies, and that big push through the target.
Even if my side was decimated, it was good to see the planning and execution. That is what makes it fun.

Good design and really fun game play.  :salute to all that made it happen.
Gone from the game. Please see Spikes or Nefarious for any Ahevents.net admin needs.

As a player and squad leader the only thing I didn't find particularly fun was the variety of the missions. 412th was sent to the boats three times which were in the same containment area every week. The Axis sank the Ranger, Ranger the Sequel, and the ghost of Ranger.

I thought the match-ups were pretty even, fights happened fairly quickly and was an interesting setup. Perhaps switching the fight up a little more, offering a little more variety would be helpful for playability even if we have to stretch the history a little.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Stretching the history or not is what it came down to. Rather than sinking the Ranger three times, we could have sent bombers to an airfield in Rabat. But, that would be stretching more than sinking the Ranger. The setup was already almost a "what if," but nearly every setup in AH is almost a "what if." Being that, we really could have got away with any target we set for the Axis, but chose to keep it as the Ranger.

Thank you for the feedback, I will certainly make note of it in future designs.

Great setup! <S> Axis! Those yaks were not easy to deal with!  :joystick:

I was surprised at the actual scores as F1 and F2 for me felt like the allies got whipped! Good to know our countryman did better than myself!
