A 10 vs 1 gangbang and you guys still can't finish him off.  Maybe you'd have better luck in the MA?   :)

P.S. Eskimo, you got a thing for lazs?  Seem to pay a lot of attention to him, and now you're writing poems to him.  :)

"The guns work and the damage model is fair. The corsair is not the worlds worst aircraft like in WB. better, by far, view system. No boring allied vs axis crap unless you want to go to the ever popular CT arena.

This is a quote from 10-25-01.   (last week for LW guys) Staga and rip... this is too easy.   You guys should at least think a little before ya post.

How difficult would it be for HT to do bomb dispersion?  (Also cratering of paved surfaces i.e.- the runways, blast radius, etc...)  Got no problem with the first if they do the others.  I don't think many people who fly the bombers would complain.

Majic:

LOL.  If HTC implemented realistic bomb accuracy for fluffs they would be totally useless in the MA.  The MA currently doesn't have any targets even close to big enough for them to hit consistently.  I suspect that the city complexes next to airfields that came with 1.08 are possibly a move in the direction of giving the fluffs realistic accuracy and big enough targets so that they would have something to bomb, but as it stands there is no use in the MA for realistic heavy bombers.  Anybody who thinks that the bomber pilots wouldn't complain when good accuracy for them meant hitting somewhere within 800 yards of an enemy airfield is seriously mistaken IMO.

Personally I am all for historically-acurate bombing accuracy and I hope that HTC comes up with some appropriate huge targets for the bombers so that they stop being just fluff.

staga.. "congradulations"???  For what?   Proving that you and rip are talking out of your bellybutton when you claim to know what I say?  sheesh... It's childs play.

Yep... make bombers the slightest bit realistic and they will have no use in AH right now.  That has been my contention all allong...   "but we neeeeed fluffs!"  Oh?  maybe but.. do we need cv's?   the lack of realism of one feature has ruined another.  I would rather have useful cv's than useful, gamey fluffs.

hooli is right... there are no real fluff fans just attention starved milkrunners.   take away the laser bomb accuracy and they would all leave anyway.

Here's my view on the lazer accuracy.  IRL b-17s flew in massive formations of 50 to sometimes over 1000.  THis was to make sure that they hit target because the bombs weren't lazer guided.  If you look at the statistics you will notice that most B-17s flew around 25k.  I'll agree that the stratobuffs (30k+ buffs) are stupid because of the performance they have there and the unrealism because the buffs were open and it was too cold over 30k (it's like -40 degrees centigrade at 30k sometimes even colder).

But the problem is if you make the bombs not lazer guided then buffs will be useless because you will never be able to get 100 buffs to fly in formation in the MA. never.

Buffs are fine leave them the way they are now.  And no i'm not a buff pilot so don't even try to insult me, i'm just saying that buffs are fine in the MA and you are an idiot if you can't kill one successfully (i find them too easy to kill)

And please people, we can talk to each other in more intellegent ways we don't need to call people "Pedophiles" "no talent milk runners" "wussies".....  The level of immaturity of some of the people on the BBS is just amazing at time.

And we're really beating a dead horse on this buff issue.  Can we please stop wasting bandwidth on buff whines??

P.S. if anyone took offence to anything i posted sorry i just had to state my opinion.
