Strange radio vox Tater12

I was getting Tater12 vox on , it appearex, our squad channel..or it looked like it but he was not on the list..but came up in yellow whenever he transmitted..
I .pm him and he said it was strange..
But then I talked with others on  range and they where all getting him too. Quite a few people..
He was no where near.. on other side of the map even..
It was cause of annoyance only..sure it's not his fault..some glitch.
It's not the first time this has happened.

He probably tuned to your vox through the roster. Same as if you type someone's name in the radio box

No pluto. I know what jimbo is saying. It has happened to me also with other players. I think its a bug. Or maybe the player had vox channel tuned to room(purple text).

Yep lots of people heard him ..he was talking on range where he was..i could tell by what he was saying..miles from me.not same base area..diferent front even.but when he transmitted his name was in  yellow like on squad channel..but he was not on squad channel.. other squaddies did not hear him... but random folks about could...
Definate bug..glitch or dark arts of transmission I am unaware of..mod? God ? Anyway.. there it is.

Cannot confirm the name, but also had this occur to me...

Name showed in yellow, but was not on our vox list. Didn't know how to assist him/her as I didn't know where they were! (and couldn't talk back to the person)

Not sure if it's related at all but in scenario (the weekend before last) i was tuned to a channel and during transmission  i suddenly heard my voice talking and my own name came up in yellow and no one could hear me.

  I stopped transmitting and then tried again and it was back to normal.  I believe i have that moment in ah film, and in the film it sounds like an echo.

Ive had this happen with a player named Pollux.  His name shows yellow on my vox indicator, but folks on range are.communicating with his transmissions.

His name does not show up on my tuned name list either.

Same with me,EVEN same Player...and were even on different countries :headscratch:

A couple of days ago, I had channel V tuned to myself to test my mic and noticed that it also transmitted on RANGE and showed up in yellow.  Didn't do more testing, but it might be a clue.

I tuned to 200 in the lobby back in ah2, keyed up and system hung up.
