Randy I know you've posted about this before so I know the history. I can only guess that one of two things are happening. Either you're actually moving your stick too fast(yes I know you swear you're not doing that but let's try ruling it out - - read on) or there's a problem with your stick. IT'S NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE GAME as most all of us don't get this message hardly ever after we've been flying for a while unless of course, we're moving our stick too fast or there's a problem with the stick. It's built into the game specifically to thwart people that would do that to game the smoothing code which takes a calculation of where you're heading in order for the rest of us to see planes moving as they do. Otherwise it'd be chaos.
So let's see if we can track down your problem and rule out the stick. Check this link out and download the joytester program toward the bottom. It's a nice program specifically for this kinda crap.
http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/Start the program and select a controller. It'll see all the controllers plugged into your pc. Select an axis. Now move the stick back and forth along the axis. There should be a smooth wave form up and down. If there are any jaggy glitches on it--there's your problem. Post screen shots here so we can see what's going on.
Now onto troubleshooting the issue. Is it a pot? Chances are it needs cleaned or maybe replaced. I've had to do this many times over the years with my CH fighterstick. It's just the nature of the beast.
Now maybe you have a newer Gen stick with hall sensors on it like I do now. Well that gets you away from the dirty pot problem but it doesn't get you away from a bad connection problem. Joysticks have little wires inside. They're attached from a pcb to the gimbal assy in some way so there's movement on the wires whenever you move the stick. The fighterstick had tiny spade connectors that went to the pots. I'd had to squeeze them tight with needle nose pliers so they'd stop wiggling around. Moving the stick made one wiggle around causing the stick moving too fast warning. The VKB stick has little plastic connectors that go from the sensors to the circuit board. They could get loose too and cause the same thing. Could be it wasn't pressed home fully when manufactured. Stuff happens.
Take a look at this stuff and see if we can't get to the bottom of the problem.
