1) The US military does training exercises all of the time. It is the only way to keep the troops even remotely sharp.

2) The US is not going to invade NK. We may bomb it back to the stone age, but there is absolutely zero incentive to send troops in. Let China clean it up.

That said, we aren't going to do anything to NK other than sanction them.

It turns out our military units were pulled out of Seoul to a massive base outside of North Korean artillery range in November of 2017.

Yes, I know we practice military exercises in Korea.  The Egyptians practiced breaching Israeli defenses frequently too, until it became commonplace and they pulled off an invasion in 1973 with ease.

The two things that have changed with North Korea are the development of a thermonuclear bomb and a rocket capable of carrying it to the continental U.S.  I believe that is a game changer.

I do I have bought 48 tins of beans and a some tin foil.

I have declared war on Iran as well, I will do next month when the North Korea charade is not in the news

Yes, because international finance and trade has always been effective in stopping wars.  Great plan, let's just count on that, China owns a lot of American debt/bonds and is massively investeted in the USA, and the USA/China both bailed out Russia post 1989.  That should ensure peace!  Ask the Ukraine about their finance and trade with mother Russia and where their Crimea went.  Worked great there, superb plan, we'll rely on that to keep world peace. 

Of course China building warships at a rate nearing 10 to 1 over the USA right now, building and militarizing islands in parts of the South China sea that aren't even theirs, or even close to China, stealing US tech, building specific weapons and systems to counter American ones...sure, they're not planning on doing anything whatsoever, it's all just for fun times.

Was Germany not Russia's greatest trading partner and owner of their debt in mid 1941?  German-Soviet credit agreement et al?  The Russian trains bringing supplies and trade Westward were overflown by the 3 squadrons of JU88, Do17, and HE111 that hit the Russian airfields in the opening attacks in 1941.
