ANy one used Bone conducting headphones?
« on: March 25, 2018, 05:30:14 PM »
There seem to be  some relativly new headphones about, bone conductive headphones, they seem to get a good write up.. https://aftershokz.com/products/trekz-titanium
I have bad hearing loss in one ear ( makes gving a difficult and a frustrating task)and these are meant to side step the problem to a large degree, by conducting vibrations down the cheek/jaw bone straight to the middle ear nerves etc..
I was wondering if anyone has tried them out and had much success with them in game, I would love to hear your views.
Are the up to scratch for gaming is my question, I think the sound quality might not be quite as good as normal headphone but want to hear peoples views and ways to make it better, would be great if they worked well with the game
Cheers

Back in the early '80's one of the sales people at a company I worked for had a bone vibration headset.  One day one of the girls at the company walks by and asks "So how's that bone vibration going?"   :rofl
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
