^ this. There are still a couple of people in the MA that get very wound up about dying in cartoon planes :)
I just grab another beer. Problem solved.

True enough.  OTOH, rude and abusive behavior was a big factor in the demise of AvA numbers, if only because the numbers were never really enormous and the insults were therefore seen by all and taken personally.  In this instance I think Colmbo's advice probably helps to head off further problems.

I've never had the PM problem, but there have been several times when the antics on 200 got out of hand when I had my grandson helping me play. Bad language for the most part, but I reported them. We forget all to often, this is a public game, don't be offensive, and there in lies the problem. Maybe you swear around your grandkids or kids. I don't, there enough said.

That only made it worse for me.  Now I do twenty pushups.  I'm getting ripped again.

I personally like when people try and talk smack because they killed you.  Usually it's me after a few too many beers running a jet too fast into the ground and some noob starts PMing about how awesome he is and what an idiot I am.   I just laugh cause I'll have all those perks back an hour later flying 35eny planes and blowing him up.   :neener:

Before someone should send game film in??

We've all have "poor sport" encounters, some more than others, but at what point should I be sending film in?

Personal attacks? Homophobic slurs?

I'll do the ".report <PlayerID>" if the private messages start coming in, usually followed by a squelch. But again, what is the threshold to say, ok, this guy is really ruining my gaming experience and someone needs to be informed of it...

If it bothers you at all send it.  Let HTC decide how bad it is.

Another neat tip is if you open your vox there is a harassment control that goes from 1 - 200+.  200 being  :x and one being  :salute.  If you go past 200 then  :noid!
They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

Having not played in a few but I also remember 200 is a choice and you don't have to subject yourself to it. Thou it is better then most soap operas and with a beer and popcorn can easily draw up a few laughs.
